📄 OPEN LETTER — DRAFT V1

Subject: Independent Safety Initiative — EKOR (Education Before Enforcement)

To whom it may concern,

This letter is to formally notify you of an independent initiative currently being developed and deployed under the MotoKor platform.

The initiative is called EKOR.

It has been created in direct response to the growing safety concerns surrounding e-bike usage, particularly among younger riders.

Purpose

EKOR is built on a simple principle:

Education before enforcement.

We are observing a clear gap between:

  • The capabilities of modern e-bikes

  • The level of rider understanding

  • The speed at which regulation and enforcement are being applied

This gap is contributing to increased risk — not only for riders, but for the broader public.

What EKOR Is

EKOR is a focused, fast-deployment platform designed to:

  • Deliver short, practical safety education to riders

  • Improve awareness of real-world consequences

  • Encourage responsible riding behavior

  • Support parents and communities with accessible information

It is not a social platform.
It is not commercially driven at this stage.

It is a direct response to an urgent and visible problem.

Why We Are Acting

Initial attempts to engage through traditional pathways were unsuccessful due to structural barriers and delayed access to decision-making channels.

As a result:

We have chosen to act independently, with the tools and platforms available to us.

This allows immediate deployment and iteration based on real-world feedback.

Current Status

  • EKOR is in active development and early release

  • Supporting materials, including written publications, are being produced in parallel

  • Public access will be made available through the MotoKor platform

Position

We are not seeking permission to proceed.

We are establishing a working model that prioritizes safety through awareness and education.

Open Door

If your department, organization, or team sees value in this initiative, we are open to alignment, contribution, or integration.

All communication can be directed through:

jr@motokor.au

Closing

This is a people-first initiative.

The goal is simple:

Reduce harm. Increase awareness. Act now.
